CHOICES is a comprehensive mental health treatment program for adolescent males ages 10-18. This residential program is located in Bridgeville, PA, just a few miles from Southwood Psychiatric Hospital’s main campus.
To be accepted for admission into the CHOICES residential mental health treatment program, adolescents must meet the following two criteria:
- Have a primary diagnosis of a mental health disorder
- Have a history of sexually maladaptive behaviors
CHOICES residents much also have an individual education plan (IEP) and be enrolled in an approved educational program.
Please note that, although the CHOICES program specializes in providing mental health therapy to adolescent males who have demonstrated sexually maladaptive behaviors, we cannot accept adjudicated youth who have been convicted of a sexual offense or any other felonies.
Treatment within our residential mental health program follows the principles established by Pennsylvania’s Child and Adolescent Service System Program (CASSP).
